At a wopping 1.16 cm our 7 week 2 day old embryo turning fetus has a heartbeat of 133 beats per minute! It was amazing to see and hear that tiny flutter. Simply amazing. My husband almost cried, and I just laughed.
I so remember that first time we heard the heartbeat, I was nearly out of my skin I was so happy.
It's so much fun to watch your baby grow inside of you - enjoy it. Even if you have more kids, this time is the first and thus very special time. Make sure you keep a journal!!
Amy is SO right....every pregnancy is exciting, but there is something special about the first one. And definitely think about keeping a journal, it's so fun to look back on everything you are thinking and feeling throughout this process. I am so happy now that I kept one with both of my pregnancies.

Even though it's too early to tell, Regan's heartbeat was really fast at first and then he calmed down, but still, I'm saying boy!

Aww...how sweet!!! And, if you don't mind a fourth...CONGRATULATIONS!! That is so wonderful! I am holding out before I decide on the gender! But, I will let you know when I do! :-)
