My husband and I were thinking about taking a weekend trip with the kids and I wasn't sure if this would work real well with the baby. He's only 5 1/2 months old, and while he is a very good baby, we just got him sleeping thru the night and the baby food and the car????
I saw this book and was going to order it but wanted to see if any of you had possibly read it or had any insite

Good for you! We started traveling with our kids when they were just a few months old as well. Sadly I became WAY too comfortable nursing my daughter in the parking lot of gas stations and restaurants along the highway, but you gotta do what you gotta do, right?!!
I think the key is attempting to stick to their routine and bringing some of their "comforts" from home. Of course I always ended up taking WAY too much stuff, but you can't know what you'll need until you're there. Of course it helps to make sure there's a Target close by wherever you travel to just in case! Good luck, and have fun!!
