Trista and Ryan's Pick: Tufted Organic Innerspring Mattress

Problem:

Adults should be concerned with the type of mattress they are sleeping on also. Trista chose to have a daybed in Max’s nursery and opted for an organic twin tufted innerspring mattress. Unlike traditional mattresses, this one does not contain dangerous flame retardant chemicals or stain & water resistant treatments which can be another source of VOC’s.

Solution:

Since all mattresses manufactured in the U.S. as of 7/1/2007 are required to pass the flame ignition test, most manufacturers use harsh chemicals to meet the standard. By choosing an organic mattress, you avoid use of these chemicals. How? By using pure wool which is a natural flame retardant and meets the US regulations which is not only comfortable, but healthy!
