I walked in my three-year-old son’s room and found him drawing on the wall with some washable markers he found. We washed it off with no problem, but it’s clear he needs another outlet for his creativity. Do you have any suggestions for activities that we can do together (and that won’t ruin the furniture)?

I watched toddlers who would love to color my table, so I decided to purchase a vinyl tablecloth and with a black permenant marker and coloring book pictures I would cut out and use as my patterns, I would draw pictures on the tablecloth for the toddler to color. I would hand them water markers that comes off with a sponge or lightly dampen rag (not soak and wet) and let them color over and over again while pictures stay in place. This kept them busy for hours. You can even take it one step further and do a seasonal scene to color. Hope this helps.
