I had to add Samson to the list of children because my family asked why he wasn't included. This says a lot because before Lorelai came we always referred to Sam as our Dog-Son. Now with the baby he has become just a Dog. That is so sad! He is still the biggest baby in the house though :-)

Watson, our dog, finally acknowledged Noah today. And it was freakin' adorable.

Noah was in his Pod chair, and was watching Watson wander around...Watson finally approached him because Richard and I were sitting there with him, and after giving us a few kisses, he cautiously licked Noah's foot. Noah didn't know what to do with himself! His eyes popped wide open, his mouth formed a big O, and then he laughed and laughed and laughed. He stuck his foot out as though to say "do it again!"

So, Watson did. And then he licked his face. :)

I don't normally find dogs licking babies' faces cute, but I have to admit I was thrilled to see it happen today. I want Watson to accept Noah as a part of this family and today marked a big step in him doing that.
