Although Nathan has been using his hands for awhile now to touch things and of couse suck on, he seems to have just discovered them yesterday. It was one of the sweetest moments I have had with him as I watched him hold his arm out straight and his hand opened and twisted it back and forth and just stared amazed that he was controlling it. His Uncle Mark was here last night and got to see him do it several times when Nathan was sitting in his high chair. Now he seems to be doing it all the time, just sitting there with that arm straight out as if he is waving. Oh it is soooo darn cute! It is those times when you truly realize how incredible the journey of a baby growing and learning is and I am grateful just to be with him to catch those special experiences.
